Any idea why I cannot ping the AIM-CUE ?

thanks

interface Service-Engine0/0

ip address 10.224.32.17 255.255.255.252

service-module ip address 10.224.32.18 255.255.255.252

service-module ip default-gateway 10.224.32.17

!

#ping 10.224.32.18

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.224.32.18, timeout is 2 seconds:

.....

Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

I have this problem too.

Hi,

Check to have an ip route to the service module ip address with subnet /32 and output interface service engine

thanks & best Regards

That should not be necessary, because a dedicated subnet is being used, not unnumbered.

However, I agree that unnumbered using a voice VLAN address is a better choice.

Why you should ?

Either use explicit or unnmbered, as recommended by configuration guides.
