spa8000 settings for interfacing with Nortel Norstar key system

We are installing a spa8k unit and connecting to a Nortel Norstar key system.  We are having issues with the Norstar showing the line ringing in.  We have changed the ring wave form from Trapezoid to Sinusoid and messed with the ring voltage.  Has anyone ever interfaced with a Norstar and have any recommended settings, etc

Hi Jayme,

I've asked my colleagues and nobody has specific settings for the Nortel Norstar system.

Does a phone attached to the spa8k ring?

What are you attempting to accomplish by modifying the ring's wave form?

Hi Jayme,

Do you have a manual or any specifications of the Nortel Norstar key system? If so, I'll request Engineering to take a look and perhaps that will provide clues to appropriate settings for the SPA8000.

Thanks for the update on this.  We actually got the 8k working with the default settings.  We actually had a bad port, which is the one we were using.
