Is there a simple way to test the fiber ports?

Antonio,

If you have another switch or router, use an SC to SC patch cord or whatever fiber type you need and connect them back-to-back and see if the interface comes up.

If you don't have any other switch or router with fiber port, get a fiber to copper media converter and connect it to your PC.
