Hi,

If I have this config on a router;

class-map match-all Multimedia_out

match ip dscp ef

policy-map classify_out

class Multimedia_out

priority percent 20

And this config on the switch that connects to the router; (Which is just an AutoQoS config)

Will the traffic marked with DSCP 46 be correctly sent in the LLQ defined on the router, since DSCP46 is the same as DSCP ef?

So i guess my question is, does it matter that on the router it says dscp ef and on the switch its dscp 46?

Thanks

Hi,

Your traffic will be classified properly.

Even if you try configuring "match dscp 46" on a router, it will end up showing in running config as "match dscp ef".
