Installing a 7941G phone

I'm trying to install a 7941G phone on a 2811 router running IOS 12.4(3d), CME 3.3 and CUE 2.1.3. The phone is not adding in CME and the phone loads I downloaded are not registering on the router. I've been trying to find documentation on installing the phone and I found one good one but can't find it again. Can anyone let me know if I have the correct IOS and CME/CUE software versions and if there is a good install document out there.

Hi Danny,

The 7941G is not supported with CME 3.3

You would want to go to at least CME 4.1

Thanks for your reply and all your help. Do you know if 4.1 has to be purchased or can I upgrade from 3.3? What components do I need to upgrade? What particular files need to be downloaded?

Hi Danny,

You are most welcome my friend :)

CME is part of the IOS, so if you have a service contract that allows you access to the IOS downloads you are good to go;
