Route Pattern Question

We have voicemail ports that people are dialing directly unfortunatly causing failover (these numbers are unique 7XXX numbers that no one would have a reason to dial directly). We are working on fixing this correctly soon but for now can I create a route pattern say for 7XXX (vm port #'s)

that throws people at our reception? So for example, if I pick up the phone and dial 7XXX now it would fail the unity box over, could my pattern force it to go to reception and not have any other adverse effects for the voicemail port numbers?

If you're SCCP integrated why a RP??

A RP needs a route list or a GW as mandatory elements.

Now, if you create a 7XXX pattern but someone dials 7000 and that's the DN of the VM ports it's not going to work, best match rule.

You would need to create EXACT matches in your routing and place them above the partition of VM ports in CSS, you could use translation patterns and send them somewhere else.

But since you're already going to mess with CSS i would advise to do things right and move the VM port partition out of phones CSS.

The integration guides already make sure this doesn't happen if you follow them step by step, the only way to reach VM ports is via the hunt pilot if you follow the integration guides.
