Anchored SSID with L3 security failing authentication

Hello,

I have an existing setup with all 6 wlc's at the same firmware level :

1 anchor controller : V4.2.130

5 internal controllers : V4.2.130

We recently installed a 7th new type WLC2112 which came with firmware version 5.2.193

There are 2 SSID's which are anchored between internal and anchor controllers:

SSID "Guests" uses L3 Security Web auth : no problem

SSID "Maximo" uses L2 Security WPA+WPA2 - PSK : problem on new controller

When the AP is joined to the new wlc2112(V5.2.193) trying to connect to SSID "Maximo" fails : Client Authentication fails .

When the same AP is joined to an old wlc (V4.2.130) connecting to SSID "Maximo" is OK

The other anchored SSID "Guests" is working fine on all internal wlc's .

I checked the Cisco wlc firmware version matrix for internal--anchor controllers and the combination of wlc firmware versions we have is OK .

Any idea's ?

The Admin Status and the Broadcast SSID parameters are disabled by default. Complete these steps in order to enable Admin Status and Broadcast SSID:

1. Go to the WLC GUI and choose Controller > WLANs. The WLANs page appears. This page lists the WLANs that are configured.

2. Select the WLAN for which you want to enable broadcasting of the SSID and click Edit.

3. In the WLAN > Edit page, check Admin Staus in order to enable the WLAN. Also, check Broadcast SSID in order to ensure that the SSID is broadcast in the beacon messages sent by the AP.

Sorry, but this is not the problem .
