Unity 7.0(2) Importing Public Distribution List via COBRAS

We are upgrading a Unity VM system from 4.0(5) TO Unity UM 7.0(2). AD2003/Exch2007 Unity has 3xx PDL's in and AD has 7xx. Has anyone had experience in importing PDL's via COBRA's. What occurs if COBRA's attempts to import a PDL with the same name as an existing PDL? Does the import of that particular PDL fail?

During the import wizard for COBRAS you get the chance to decide if you want to create a new DL (you'll have to change it's name to be unique) or just import members from that backed up DL into the existing DL on the target system.

The import wizard is pretty extensive - you are required to resolve all conflicts prior to import - COBRAS isn't just going to pull the trigger and let the chips fall where they may - it should help you resolve all that stuff up front for all objects.
