how can i monitor the traffic from one port on other port,

rmon i have done btu i want to capture the packets through ethereal

The ME3400 supports monitor sessions (SPAN ports) so you can use them to capture your traffic.

monitor session 1 source < vlan / interface >

monitor session 1 destination interface x/x

then just hook your PC up to the destination interface and you will get the traffic.
