LMS 3.0.1 / RME : bad speed value for giga port

Hi,

When we export inventory report from RME for a WS-CBS3020-HPQ.

We can see that speed for giga port is wrong : 9.535107

IOS version: Cisco IOS Software, CBS30X0 Software (CBS30X0-LANBASE-M), Version

12.2(25)SEF1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

This is a known issue with ifSpeed being treated as a power of 2 instead of 10. It is fixed in LMS 3.2. In the meantime, if you multiple the value by 1024, you will get the proper speed in bits per second.

We have installed LMS 3.2 but speed is wrong :

on report we can see 10 mbps on the device it is 1 gbps.

Perform a new inventory collection for this device.  Make sure it succeeds.  Then, if the speed values are still wrong, collect an SNMP Walk of the ifTable from the switch, and post it here.

The switch is reporting 10 Mbps for most of the gig ports.  The DDR is properly reflecting the ifSpeed reported by the switch.  I don't see any problem here.

When we look at the switch via telnet we can see port with 1000 mbps, see file attached.

Looks like you may have found a bug in the switch code, then.  I don't see anything relevant, but you are running fairly old code, and the problem may have been silently fixed in a newer release.  You should open a TAC service request so more analysis can be done.
