IE3000 snmp-server

I have many IE3000s running 12.2(52)SE. It looks like by default it is configured with:

snmp-server community public RO

snmp-server community private RW

I don't want these strings configured, so I do "no" statements for both, write mem, reload, and they still show up in the running-config. However, if I do a "sh start", these commands are not there. Is this a bug? Anybody seen this issue before and know how to fix it? I don't see anything in the Bug Toolkit

Hi Joe.

Sounds like a bug. You should open a TAC case to get it verified.
