LMS 3.2 CampusManager UserTracking issue

Hello,

we are using CampusManager v5.2.0 and have the following problem:

All IP-Phones are showed by MAC-Address in the UserTracking, because we are not using CCM.

Now the problem is to get the IP-Phones out of this list.

We've testet to change the UserTracking Acquisition Settings in the Subnet Acquisition Settings and selected the Subnet where the IP-Phones are in not to discover but without success. We also excluded the IP-Subnet from "Ping-Sweep", but again without success.

What can we do to not have the IP-Phones in the UserTracking. The Voice-Switches should be managed by CampusManger to creat a map, etc.

Maybe there is a mistake in my thinking.

Thanks for your help!

As I said, you can leave the switches in Campus, but you'd have to drop them out of UT entirely by excluding their subnets from UT acquisition.  The switches themselves can still be managed by Campus topology.

There is no way to do what you want without dropping those switches from UT entirely.  That is, you could configure subnet acquisition to ignore the subnets on which the switches are, then that should mean no end hosts connected to those switches will show up in UT.

Thank you for your fast reply.

Too bad, that it is now working without removing the switches from CampusManager.

OK, now I understand.

Thank you!
