Solved: CUE - voice mail system - make forward by extensiondefault over forward by name

I have a client that leverages the voice mail forwarding feature significantly within the CUE voice mail system. The standard forwardign otpion is to forward a message by name. If the user presses ## they can toggle the forward by option to extension.

Is their anyway to make forward by extension the system wide default option instead of name?

Oh I see. In that case, that can be accomplished with the 'voicemail conversation address-by' command. See:

This is not possible when using one of the canned scripts. You can try to write your own script. It is relatively easy and the CUE team can help you. A sample dial by extension script is discussed on:

This is not an auto attend script but instead behavior within the CUE voice mail application. When listening to a voice mail message, one of the options is to forward the voice mail to another CUE user. The default behavior is to forward by name not extension. The customer wants forward by extension as the default. It is a reach, but understandable that client would want that way. Attorney's need quick and easy.
