hi all,

I have 2 switch routers 3750 in my Lab which i try to configure PIM.

The configuration is pc with multicast streamer connected to R1 to Router 2 to pc with vlc player.

I configured the ports between the routers as

no switch port

ip adress ...

ip pim sparse-dense

If i pass the pc receiver to R1 so i can get the multicast movie ,but when we move it to r2

not.

also we can see that igmp is received in R2 but not in R1 ,

what am i missing pls ?

Thanks

Yoram

Yoram,

Without seeing your config, it is hard to tell what is wrong, but have you configured

ip igmp snooping globally and also on each interface/VLAN that connects to each PC?

ip multicast-routing distributed on both routers have been enabled?

Have you configured PIM on both routers, if yes can you see the PIM neighbor by issuing the command "sh ip pim nei" from one of the routers?

HTH

Reza
