Hello Chong,

your system image is flash:?

you can see files in flash with

dir flash:

you can then delete a file with

delete flash:filename

you need then to squeeze to free space

squeeze flash:

I would copy the file again with a more meaningful name, this a quite common error during questions in copy tftp command

Hope to help

Giuseppe

k, i did what u say but the first file does not show when i type dir flash: . is the router suppose to have 2 files?

Choong,

Have you already loaded the IOS version you need? If yes, do a "sh flash all", you should see 2 files, one is your old one that you do not want and one is a new one that you want to keep.  Then follow what Giuseppe posted and you should be fine.
