Here are the requirements: 1)      There are 7 sites – old dying key systems2)      Each site has a need for 4 local POTS lines3)      Each site has an average of 4 phones (total is 40 phones)4)      The sites also require a SIP trunk and would like the phones as registered Broadsoft users (mobility, call center etc)

What would be the recommended solution from Cisco on this? UC500 might be too much. The sites already have an MPLS network in place with Cisco 2800 series ISRs.

  • Cisco Employee,

Dear Sir;

This would be UC 500. If not affordable, then an optional solution can be the SPA9000 Voice System.

I suggested a SPA9000 and 8800.  The complexity of the call routing and features needs a complete network design validation.    I will setup a meeting to discuss.  Plse let me know who might be good candidates to help in that discussion.

Depending on the ISR models, you MAY be able to consider adding CUCME software feature set to them.

looks like the SP cannot put cards into the 2800, so this is not an option at this time.
