Call Manager 7.1 setup so * + extension goes direct to voicemail

I need to setup Cal Manager 7.1 so when someone dials * + the extension it goes direct to that extension voicemail   I ,ve see it at several other palces work  I want to set it up here.

The method is nicely shown in this older doc (it does carry across to 7.x versions);

Please make sure that the word "voicemail" is not configured on the CTI RP Alerting Name.
