Multiserver LMS

Hi,

I just completed my first LMS 3.2 multiserver installation for a customer (server 1 with RME master, server2 with DFM slave, server3 with IPM slave)

The applications work normally except a minor detail: When the user logins to http://server1:1741 he sees at the top the Views:

Functional, System, Network, CS, RME but no DFM and IPM, so the illusion of a single LMS is not complete.

He has to access DFM and IPM from the portlets below.

Another minor issue: the backups are separate per server, there is no centralized backup screen. Are there others known to the community ?

Does anyone know how to fix these ?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

You are free to create new views for the IPM and DFM applications if you like.  Views are only automatically created for locally installed applications.  Note: not all portlets can be used on remote servers, so the remote DFM and IPM views may not be exactly like the ones local to those respective servers.

You are correct that the backups must be taken on each server individually.  There is no multi-server backup integration feature at this time.
