Embedded CiscoView on 4900M

I am writing to ask if anyone can definitively say whether Embedded CiscoView will load and work properly on a 4900M. The box is a WS-C4900M and will be running the latest release (latest mainline release = IP BASE SSH cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SG1.bin ). The software configuration support page says:

"Catalyst 4900 and 4500 switches share configuration information. Refer to the documentation at the locations below:"

The Embedded CiscoView instructions all refer to the 4500 though.

Of course I can load it and try, but I thought I'd save the trouble if the answer is "no".

These are the only devices supported:

WS-C4006
WS-C4503
WS-C4506
WS-C4507R
WS-C4510R
WS-C4948
WS-C4948-10GE
ME-4924-10GE

So it should work, but I have not tried it myself.

Alas - almost every box BUT the WS-C4900M.

The download page is working now (it wasn't earlier when I posted) so I can see that this product is not actively developed (last release > years ago). Ah well, it was worth a thought.
