IP Phone Hearing Aid Compatability

Hello,

Id just like to know what compatability Cisco/Linksys have with hearing aids in the SPA9x2 range of IP handsets.COmpeting products websites claim "This product is hearing aid compatible and volume control is in compliance with FCC Part 68 and the Hearing Aid Compatibility Act." but I cant seem to find any refernce to this for the 9x2 series phones?

If these phones are not compatible, can anyone suggest a good handset to use that is compatible?

Hi Daniel;

These phones are HAC compatible. We recommend to use Plantronics and GNNetcom amplifiers. Please check the note below: SPA9X2 phones have a 2.5mm headset port (similar to CP7985), so make sure you get the adapters also.
