Hi,

When we try to import conf file to a switch with tftp, switch crash and reload.

D:\CSCOpx\bin>cwcli config import -u admin -p xxxxx -ipaddress 10.160.252.132 -f  D:\CSCOpx\files\rme\dcma\shadow\Switches_and_Hubs\PRIMARY\10.160.255.1.cfg

LMS 3.1

Switch WS-C3750-48PS-S, ios 12.2(50)SE2

When we try to send config with a tftp server, it works.

Many thanks, Elisabeth

Because cwcli is using SNMP/TFTP to do the copy where as a manual server copy does not involve SNMP.

Looks like you might be seeing CSCta57846.  This bug affects desktop switches when you configure logging to flash via a remote file copy operation.  It is fixed in 12.2(52)SE.

Customer has installed a tftp server on his pc, switch doesn't crash when he copy the config file by tftp.

Why with cwcli config import it crash ?

What is the difference beetween cwcli and tftp server copy ?

Because cwcli is using SNMP/TFTP to do the copy where as a manual server copy does not involve SNMP.
