Hi Nagesh,
You can set up one or more lines with a shared-line appearance. A Cisco Unified Communications Manager system considers a directory number to be a shared line if it appears on more than one device in the same partition.
You create a shared-line appearance by assigning the same directory number and route partition to different devices.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_1_2/ccmsys/a03dn.html#wp1100362
So, for example, you might want DN 7777 to be Shared between three 7942 phones. Configure
7777 on Line 1 of the first 7942 and Line 2 of the second and third 7942's.
Cheers!

Hi Nagesh,
Make sure the Shared Lines and Devices are in the same Partition. Try re-booting both phones
and re-test
Cheers!
