PoE problems

I am using the SLM224P and I am unable to get

PoE to work with any device. The devices are working on other local PoE switches, and the PoE settings are set to enabled in the web config. Is th

ere another way to check this or could it be a faulty switch. Everything else appears to be working properly.

Maybe you over-subscribed the PoE of the switch.  According to the data sheet:

"PoE on twelve 10/100 ports (ports 1 through 6 and 13 through 18) compatible with IEEE 802.3af, with 100W dedicated internal power, enough to support 7.5W for 12 PoE ports or 15.4W on 6 ports"

Hope this helps.

I have tried running the switch with only one device plugged in. It just doesn't want to supply power to any device that is plugged into it.

Sorry Mark,

You've just eliminated my one-and-only idea.

Your next hop, I guess, would be:  http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/linksys/

Hope this helps.
