Hi guys/girls

Just having a problem with the power inline command. I cant seem to find any info on the two images i have installed on two different 3750G-48PS-S switches. The images are:

SEE1 -  c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEE1.bin

SEB4 -  c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin

On the SEB4 IOS image,  the command power  inline auto doesn't appear to be enough to activate PoE  on the interfaces, instead power inline static needs to  be issued to the interface in order to bring up a device requiring  PoE.

On the SEE1 IOS image,  the command power  inline auto appears to be set by default and I do not  have to apply any power commands to bring up PoE  on an interface.

Ide like to know if this is a known issue that is fixed between SEB4 and SEE1 IOS  images?

Thanks

I think you need to upgrade your IOS.  Cisco has recently released a number of security exploits and they target the firmware you are using.  Try using version 12.2(46).  I'm using this at the moment with my PoE switches and I don't have to configure anything.
