CCIP requirements

Hi,

I have CCNP certification, which I recertified this year by passing QoS 642-642. Last month I passed BGP 642-661 exam and now I have started studying MPLS 642-611 towards getting my CCIP certification.

My question is as follows:

In my Certification Tracking System profile, the BSCI (towards CCIP certification) is not ticked. To my understanding the minimum requirement for BSCI (to get CCIP) is 642-801. I passed the 642-801 on the 19th December 2005. Do I have to re-do my BSCI or have I met the requirement?

Thanks

You would have had to complete the CCIP requirements within 3 years of passing the 642-801 for it to count towards CCIP. The current requirement is either 642-901 or 642-892 in addition to the other exams you mentioned. Take a look at the following links.

(This link refers to CCNP, but the concept applies)

Hope this helps.
