update the datasheets

Hello,

I have been searching the cisco website for data on the ISR routers.

Specifically I need the power consumption for the ISR 1941 and the ISR 2951

I was able to find similar info for the ISR 3945 and other ISR models at :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10536/data_sheet_c78_553924.html

But this does not include the models I am looking for.

Also, I looking for the "Maximum 3DES Throughput" for the models ISR 1941 and ISR 2951

Again, I was able to find a page which gave this info for other models in the series at :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/iosswrel/ps6537/ps6586/ps6635/ps7180/prod_brochure09186a00801f0a72_ns710_Networking_Solutions_Brochure.html

But not the ones I am looking.

Can you tell me this information ?

Or can you send me a link where I might find it ?

Many thanks for your help.

Hi Joe

Here are the URLs for the Cisco 1900 & Cisco 2900 where you can find power consumption information:

1941 data sheet
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10538/data_sheet_c78_556319.html

2900 data sheet

I'm still looking for the VPN numbers, but for starters you could use the AIM-VPN reference. Documentation states that new ISR G2 "The onboard encryption hardware replaces and outperforms the advanced integration modules (AIMs) of previous generations."

The AIM VPN throughput numbers are available here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5853/data_sheet_vpn_aim_for_18128003800routers_ps5853_Products_Data_Sheet.html

It seems that those performance numbers are still under review, but you could keep an eye in the next weeks for updated numbers

Adolfo
