Which one of the methods below, in Layer 3 switching, uses a forwarding information base (FIB)?
A. Route caching
B. Demand-based switching
C. Flow-based switching
D. Topology-based switching
my answer (according to the CCNP BCMSN for David Hucaby) Page 295 is Choice "D" [Topology-based switching]
but,
I read it as "A" in some other sources.
What's the Correct answer?

Hello,
D is the right one
FIB is one of the CEF tables, and CEF is topology driven
Hope to help
