Remote phones (7945G)

Unanswered Question

Hello everyone,

Currently I have a site with 2 remote users. Each user has a Fortigate device which establishes an IPSEC tunnel to the offices' Fortgate. All voice and data traffic is permitted over the IPSEC WAN and works fine, with the exception of the following:

1. Cannot change background images, says it cannot contact the TFTP server (timeout)

2. Remote users cannot call eachother, the phone rings but nothing is heard. I was able to remedy this by configuring routes to each users phone -- is that best practice?

Here's some info about the network

Site A (UC520/Main office)

Data:     192.168.10.0/24

Voice:    10.1.1.0/24

CUE: 10.1.10.1 / 10.1.10.2

Remote Site A

Data: 192.168.20.0/24

Phone IP: SAME AS DATA 192.168.20.100/255.255.255.255

Gateway: 192.168.20.1 (Fortigate device)

Remote Site B

Data: 192.168.30.0/24

Phone IP: 192.168.30.100/255.255.255.255

Gateway: 192.168.30.1 (Fortigate Device)

Any suggestions would be appriciated!

Thanks in advance.

I have this problem too.

You might want to include the 10.1.10.0/30 network into the IPSEC tunnels.

If the remote devices could not hear each other, I would look at the access-list to make sure all the appropriate subnets on the tunnel were configured correctly.
