Cisco ios upgaradation sup 2

Hi,

I am facing issue while converting Cat IOS to native IOS in WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE. Chassis is 7606.

In conversion procedure, we have to take this SUP in LAN (for ping TFTP Server). But Ethernet port is not in SUP.

Can I do this conversion through consol only?

Can I connect SUP with TFTP server (without Ethernet Port)

You could use xmodem from your laptop/PC to copy the IOS onto the SUP but be aware that it is not a quick process.

Hi Jon,

I have tried Xmodem but i get the error like "error limit exceeded" on hyperterminal after some time.Any idea on this.
