Programming for UC500 / SPA525G

Does anybody have some pointers regarding where to find information about customizing the screen of the SPA525 in combination with a UC500?

We'd like to show in the screensave a downloaded image with traffic information (changes every couple of minutes) and in the normal background some HTML with the load of several of our servers.

Any pointers towards documentation and/or examples would be greatly appreciated.

SPA500 does not (yet) support all the same XML objects as the 7900 series, and there are differences even between SPA500 and SPA525G. Refer to the following side by side comparison for more information:
