I am having a problem with call pickups on CCM 7. The problem is I have 2 reception phones configured in a line group and a pickup group. I have other users confiugred for the same pickup group so that they can pickup the reception phones when the receptionists are not there. These phones are not in the reception line group. However when they go to pickup a reception call, it fails. i.e. the pickup group is not working. Is there some operability issue between Line groups and call pickup groups in CCM 7?
Any help appreciated.
I have not tried this with CUCM 7.x, but this Hunt group/pickup restriction
has hit all CUCM 4.x, 5.x and 6.x versions so I am guessing it still applies
