I am connecting with VPN Client 4 to a customers internal network. However the VPN client re-routes all traffic
to the customers network. This makes it impossible to connecting to other customers networks through
OpenVPN. It is even impossible to get to local machines. Is there some reasonable workaround?

Solution called split-tunneling, and you configure it on the Cisco VPN gateway, where you can define what networks should be encrypted instead of everything which is default. Be aware that this has some security risks, since you could be bridging traffic between two otherwise not-connected network through your pc.

Split-tunneling requires action to be taken by the customers IT or can this be done on my system without any configuration changes on the customer side?
