Question - offline Bug Toolkit in LMS 3.2

Hi there,

actually we are using offline EoX-Reports with downloading EoX/PSIRT-File from CCO as our servers aren't connected to the internet.

Are there any possibilites for offlining the Bug Tookit too?

I know that it's not possible downloading bug-db from CCO as filesize would be enormous.

Do you know how communication between CW2000-Server and CCO is estabilshed (maybe for configuring FWs)?

Or are there any plans to provide a sort of export-and-check with CCO functionality?

No, it is not possible to offline this report. All communication between RME and Cisco.com happens using HTTP and HTTPS to www.cisco.com. So, you would need to open TCP ports 80 and 443 to www.cisco.com's IP.

There are currently no plans to offline the bug toolkit report. In fact, we have had so many problems with this report, it is more reliable to use Cisco.com directly which is why there is now a link to the Cisco.com Bug Toolkit on the RME report page.
