Hi all. Here from Spain.
¿How can i connect a Cisco switch Nexus 5000 to a Cisco switch 3750-E at 10 Gpbs of bandwith via copper cables? 3750's switches have a TwinGig module (10Gpbs, SFP interface), and i think also have a X2-10GB-CX4 transceiver module (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps7077/product_data_sheet0900aecd805bbe67.html); cisco Nexus 5000 has SFP+ interfaces. ¿Is it possible? ¿Can i connect sfp to sfp+ and achieve 10Gbps?
Or how can i connect a Qlogic CNA 8152 http://www.qlogic.com/Products/ConvergedNetworking/ConvergedNetworkAdapters/Pages/QLE8152.aspx), SFP+, to a switch with SFP ports (Cisco Catalyst 3560E-12D, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps7078/product_data_sheet0900aecd805bac22.html).
l ask all these questions because i would like to install a 10G-switched network among a NetApp 3140 and two vmware-servers with qlogic CNAs. And also connect that 10G-switch with a 3750-E stack at 10Gps.
Thanks in advance.
