CUCM: A lot of dhcpd / DNS Errors in Syslog

I have a problem on a CCM 6.1.2 System with about 250 devices connected. CCM acts as DHCP-Server for the Phones on different Subnets and there is a seperate DNS server in the network.


The problem is that I get a plethora of syslog error messages in the form of:


Severity: Error
Process:  dhcpd
Message: : if SEP0019xxxxxxxx.mydomain.xx IN A rrset doesn't exist add
SEP0019xxxxxxxx.mydomain.xx 21600 IN A 192.168.x.x: timed out.


With the same timestamp there are two Info-Level messages from dhcpd in syslog that log a successful DHCPREQUEST / DHCPACK for the same device.


For me it seems that whenever a phone issues a dhcp-request, CCM tries to register that hostname/IP-pair in the external DNS server (and fails).


Does anybody know a whay how to disable that behaviour (=registering DHCP clients on DNS server) on the CCM?
