Check CDRs

Good morning

My knowledge of Cisco is practically non existent, but I need to do something. Currently running Call Manager 4.1

We have another application that we use to draw reports from the CDRs, but we are having some discrepancies on this other system.

What I need to do is access the actual CDR's and check the number of records recorded on a specific day.

How do I do this?

I have some SQL knowledge.

Please assist if at all possible.

Warren,

Plug the following query into Query Analyzer. It will give you the number of CDRs per day that exist in your database. Further tweaking will be necessary if you want it to only display one days worth.

select
DATEADD([day], dateTimeOrigination /86400, CONVERT(DATETIME, '1970-01-01 00:00:00', 102)),
count(*)

from calldetailrecord
Group by DATEADD([day], dateTimeOrigination /86400, CONVERT(DATETIME, '1970-01-01 00:00:00', 102))
Order by DATEADD([day], dateTimeOrigination /86400, CONVERT(DATETIME, '1970-01-01 00:00:00', 102))


You may need to tweak the timezone offset (ie 86400) depending where in the world you are.
