Nexus VDC

So i have been reading about the Nexus line and the benefits of VDCs etc. I understand them for the most part. So my question:

Say you have 2 VDCs (not including the default 1) Lets call these VCD 10 and DVC 20.  Do theese VDCs actually route any traffic between them? Or how do they interoperate? If they do?

Each VDC is like a individual Nexus, or in the FWSM world, it is called security context. In order to route between the VDC, let's say route between VDC10 and VDC20, you need to physically connect them together.

There must be a port assigned to one VDC physically cabled to a port in a different VDC.  The connection can be L2 connection or L3 connection.

Awesome. Thanks guys. That is exactly how I thought it would work.
