Load balancing SMPP in ACE module

Hi,

We have a new requirement to load balance 2 servers with SMPP protocol  on ACE module.  The Code which is is running is A21(6a). Can any one suggest whether this protocol is supported for load balancing.

Hello Shibi,

This protocol can be load balanced by the ace at the TCP layer 4 level. There is no support for the underlying protocol however, so the ace cannot do any layer 7 load balancing decisions for this this protocol.
