Solved: Is BFD supported in SR 3750G

hi all,

Just want to verify the following

I have switch router 3750G with IOS 12.2(25)SEB .

However i could not operate BGD on it.(command does not appear)

I believe BFD is not supported in this IOS ver.

Is it supported in other version maybe ?

I need it for Lab simulation

As Varun says, it is different hardware. A "sh version" should show you which switch you have.

Unfortunately the 3750 does not support BFD no matter what the IOS. The 3750 Metro series switch does have BFD support.

Thanks for the answer.

Just last question as i am not so familiar with teh different types :

what is teh difference between 3750G and the 3750G metro series.

maybe my device belong to the metro series.

How can i verify that ?

its a diff h/w with the metro link on it that acts as the wan link for you
