Unity4.02 with Active Directory 2008

Is there an easy way to integrate Unity 4.02 with Active Directory 2008? I have been on the phoen with Microsoft for 4 hours and it looks like my upgrade continues to fail because of a replication issue with the schema attributes addded by Unity. Looking for some help.
