When making a CallHandler in Unity 7.x, what am I supposed to enter to get through the "Enter Network Password" prompt?

Hi,

I'm making a CallHandler with a specific greeting.  When I do anything that in the SysAdmin browser session (using various versions of IE6, 7, and 8), I'm constantly being prompted to "Enter Network Password" when there is a MediaManager bar to record greetings.  What username/password/domain information am I supposed to enter because no matter what combination of various accounts (with and without the domain filled out), I can't get the box to accept it?  If I cancel, the drop down box lets me import from a file (which is ultimately what I want to do), but it doesn't take.  I can go to the Audio Text Manager tool and see that it didn't take plus I can dial to reach the callhandler and not hear the message to know that it didn't take.  How did I fix whatever the problem is and/or what is the information I need to enter into the prompt?

Thanks in advance for helping me!!

I have this problem too.

Hi,

I would look over the following doc that explains authentication methods:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/installation/guide/vmexnofo/5xcuigvmenofo100.html#wp1533581

One suggestion is possibly adding the unity server to the various security zones, something like:

-IE tools --> internet options --> security --> trusted sites --> sites -->
added Unity server by IP..  http://x.x.x.x

-IE tools --> internet options --> security local intranet zone > select
"Automatic logon only in Intranet Zone"

The account that should be used is the one you designated as the adminstration (unityadmin) account, this should work provided you confirm you know the password.

Hope that helps,

Brad
