Cisco Security Manager Upgrade 3.1.1sp3 ->3.2.2sp2 Problems

Hi All,

Just thought I'd post in here in the off chance that someone has had the same problems I have.

I've been tasked with upgrading Cisco Security Manager (CSM) from the current 3.1.1sp3 to the latest 3.3.1.

As a direct upgrade path is not possible, the installation is to go as follows (as per Cisco doco):

3.1.1sp3 --> 3.2.2 --> 3.3.1

Unfortunately I have hit a hurdle on the initial upgrade step. For some reason, after the upgrade to 3.2.2, the login for the admin user no longer works. Neither does the login for casuser. Both passwords have been reset as per the Cisco instructions, however I am still unable to login to the CSM server post-upgrade.

I am running CSM on a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server which is dedicated to the task. I am also running McAfee AV Enterprise 8.0 (however this has been disabled along with the Cisco Securiy Agent for the purposes of installation).

If anyone needs any further information, I'm more than happy to provide it.
