Netshow jobs require telnet enable password?

Do netshow jobs require the telnet enable password to run on switches (Cisco 6500 switches in particular)? I'm running a basic netshow job to do "sh ver" and it fails:

ERROR:RME_CDL1031:Transport session to device failed Couldnot enter ENABLE Mode from USER Mode on Device. Couldnot enter ENABLE Mode from USER Mode on Device.

Yes, Netshow must become enabled on the device before it will run commands.

We use SSH to manage our network. Is there a way to have LMS (4.3.1)  use SSH to execute netshow jobs?

          thx, steve

Absolutely, just "promote" SSH above Telnet at " http://yourLMS:1741/rme/DcmaTransportSettings.do ", making sure Application Name is NetShow while making the change.
