Hello All,
Does anybody know if standard office walls (sheetrock w/metal studs) will support a CTS-1300 unit? The TP PEC install video does not mention additional support though the unit appears to rely heavily on support from the wall studs. Has anybody installed this unit in a typical office building environment and if so did you require additional support in/on the wall for the unit?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks!

I would recommend you download and refer to the document "Cisco TelePresence System 1300 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field Replaceable Unit Guide". The chapter "Assembling and Mounting a Cisco TelePresence System 1300" goes into this is great detail and should answer your questions.
Thanks,
Wayne D.

Thanks for the reply!
I have read through the mounting chapter for this model - they make it appear that this model can be mounted straight to steel studs like in most offices without reinforcement although it seems like a lot of weight to support.

If you follow all instructions and recomendations in the Cisco TelePresence System 1300 Assembly, First-Time Setup , and Field Replaceable Unit Guide, and the wall that you are mounting this TelePresence 1300 onto meets the requirements listed on Page 3-3 of this guide, then you should have no problem.
Thank you,
Wayne D.
