delayed status update by VUE affect my CCNP certification expiry?

Unanswered Question

Hi,

my CCNP certification expires on 29 december 2009, but I take the 642-812 exam on Monday (12/21/2009) to recertify. Passing the exam but today when I access the page VUE noted that in the secion of Appointment Recent History tells the status of the review ready for delivery to the test I've taken.

I talked with VUE and they say to me,  that they have opened an RMA (open an incident) because they had certain drawbacks with me and that solution duration lasts several days. But if VUE solves the problem after 29 December, my Cisco certification then expire because VUE do not reported to Cisco. and Cisco has no information of i passed the test.

What would happen to me?

Please guide me on the options I have.

thanks

I have this problem too.

Hi Jose,

Have VUE send an email to Cisco Certification section and explain what happened.  I am sure, Cisco has seen cases like this before so you should be fine.

Also, why do you wait for last minutes to take your exam?  Always take it a month or two before expiration, you never know what can happen last minute.

Good Luck

Reza
