Certification expiration date?

Unanswered Question
Dec 23rd, 2009

My CCNA expires on 12/28/2009. Testing center made mistake by making themselves available for scheduling on the 24th of December. When I called ahead this morning they said that they were closed. Pearson/VUE is not able to reschedule my exam for today the 23th.

Per Cisco "In order to recertify, exam requirements must be met prior to the certification expiration date." Does this mean that I become ineligible to recertify on Monday the 28th?

Thanks,

Goran

I have this problem too.

Once it is expired you have to take the exams again

You still have until the 28th, so keep looking until you find a center that is open, if not then you just have to take the CCNA exam again

Good Luck

Thank you for your response Reza.

I finally received a callback from testing center. They would fit me into their schedule for today as it was their honest mistake and not mine.

Glad your issue got resolve.

BTW, next time don't wait for the last minute to recert.   I always recertify a couple of months ahead.

Good luck with your test

Reza
