We have 7911s, a 7931, a 7936, a 7921 wireless and some 7940s connected to a UC540 running IOS 12.4.
How can I make the name at the top show "first name" first? If it's not possible for all of these models that's fine.

This is the behavior you get if you use CCA. First name appears first.
Are you using CCA?

If CCA 2.2(1) doesnt let you add phones, you need to open a case. I dont see that error.
How about CLI?
ephone-dn 12 dual-line
number 203 no-reg primary
pickup-group 1
label 203
description Study Office
name Study Office <---- firstname lastname
call-forward busy 401
call-forward noan 401 timeout 10
translation-profile incoming CallBlocking

Yes and no. CCA works for many things -- except for adding new phones (not sure why) so I added them with the CUE web admin. How may I set this with CUE?

Unfortunately time had already passed for me to add a case, by the time you replied :-( I was using CCA 2.1(1).
Fortunately, I was mistaken about the phones showing last name first. On re-visit to the site I saw they are as they should be.
Thanks for your help!
