Hardcoding PRI channels for Inbound & Outbound Calls

Hi,

I have a critical requirement. Can someone help me on this:

I Have 3 ISDN PRI links terminating on Cisco 2821 Routers. 2 Links in one 2821 & 1 link in 1 Router. These PRI details are listed below:

PRI (1) 30c - 04 8704000

PRI (2) 30c - 04 8704200

PRI (3) 30c - 04 8704400

Is the following possible?

Business Centre A: 048704400 (Main/reception number) to 443 with 10 channel

Business Center B: 048704444 (Main/reception number) to 599 with 10 channel

Business Center C: 04870200 (Main/reception number) to 299 with 10 channel

Business Center D: 04870300 (Main/reception number) to 399 with 10 channel

Business Center E: 048704000 to 199 (Main/reception number) to 199 with 20 channel.

I have CUCM 7.1.2 & my Gateways are registered as MGCP to CUCM.

Can someone suggest me whether this is possible or not...

Partha

Certainly not possible with MGCP.

If using H.323 or SIP, you can use max-conn or trunk-groups to limit number of calls per destination.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply...

In H.323 can this be achieved for both inbound & outbound calls? Kindly suggest..

Rgds,

Partha

As mentioned before, separated DPs per number, and max-conn.

Please remember to rate useful posts clicking on the stars below.

you can control outbound calls using the metheds mentioned by Paolo ( what cahnnel/line to use ) but inbound call controled by the Telco

you may contact them and see if they can help you to get the inbound calls setup as you want

good luck

if helpful Rate

OP only needs to limit number of calls toward certain numbers, not to control the specific channel used.

Consequently, max-conn under voip DP will suffice for calls inbound to CM.

Can I control inbound as well as Outbound calls as per your

suggestion....other members on the same topic has told that Outbound

calls can be controlled but not inbound calls. Can u kindly suggest or

can share some doc with me...

Rgds,

partha

This limits call from telco to CM.

From what I understand, other way around is not of interest for you.
