I tried as suggested on translation Pattern. But then it still display the DN, along with the name(text)

e.g. from TEXT NAME

              (XXXXX)DN

i think the translation pattren will block the DN and name you will see the call from unknown !

i think use translation pattren as java suggested you

but instead of chose to ristrict the number use calling number trasformation mask and make for example 00000 or any number like main offic number

in this case the name will be shown and the number will be not dial able

Solution with translation pattern is good, but

1) if phone A calling phone B and you want phone A not see phone B number (or name). You have to set 'Connected Line ID Presentation' (or 'Connected Name Presentation') to 'Restricted'

2) if phone A calling phone B and you want phone B not see phone A number (or name). You have to set ‘Calling Line ID Presentation’ (or ‘Calling Name Presentation’) to ‘Restricted’.

Hi Darius,

As told above by Javalenc, i tried configuring the same.

The display format on IP Phone while calling to user "B" still shows as

from TEXT(name)

        XXXXX(DN)

we require only name to be displayed & not the DN.

are you  sure your call going through translation not direct to the phone

give the phone CSS that dos not has access directly to the other phone only has access to the translation pattren

give the translation pattren CSS has access to other phones

make sure you have it like this to make sure your call going through the TP not direct
