I've done some searching but havent found a definitive answer so here goes....
We have a single AD domain which Unity is integrated with. If a user object is moved from one OU to another will the Unity account be affected in anyway? Will the user be able to login and retrive email? I'm going to try it out with a test account but wanted to see if anyone had any info as well.
As long as the new OU has the proper permissions, it will not cause a problem. Have done this many times. If you need to apply permissions, rerun the Permissions Wizard.
